Now I really want to learn long expose shots so I can do the SpaceX rocket launch since I live in florida. I was wondering how I could do long expose during the day. Lenses with a G do not dictate that it has an autofocus motor in the lens. It is the AF-S at the beginning of the lense label that dictates that. There are specific G nikon lenses that do not have internal focusing motors, in which case they’re labelled AF Nikkor instead of AF-S Nikkor.
